Xiaoyu works in her father’s bookshop. Then a company in Shanghai offers her a job, and her father says no. She is about to turn it down when she finds a yellowed notice in the storeroom: twenty years ago, the same city made her father the same offer. A story about responsibility, regret and letting go, in ten short episodes written with HSK 1–3 words.
